An outpost in Bryson City is in the center of the most exhilarating white water action of the Nantahala River Gorge. Just get to the outpost, climb aboard a provided bus and get shuttled to the let-out point. Then raft your way down the adventurous rapids. A bus will be there to pick up rafters and take them back to their outpost.

If a visitor is looking for a subdued adventure, taking in the sights of the Biltmore Estates will surely please. The estate spans more than 8000 acres. There are gardens, a winery and a dairy with delicious homemade ice cream. For the visitor that likes to shop, there is even a splendid shopping area. There is also a tour of the home and property. This is a site not to be missed.
